Users now have the ability to send In-App Emails and create Email Templates directly from an Account Overview page. For this feature to work all settings must be properly setup.
In-App Email Composer
To send an In-App Email click the New button in the Account Activity Widget and select Email.
Sending an email inside of the GleanView app is no different than sending from an email host. Users have the same functionality to format font styles, type, color, and alignment, as well as the ability to add images, links, and attachments. Choosing to send an Email inside of the Account Activity Widget will populate the associated Contact and Email Address from the Account the user is working in.
In-App Email Templates
To create an In-App Email Template click the New in the Account Activity Widget and select Email Template.
When creating a New Email Template Users are prompted to fill in a Template Name, Subject, and choose whether or not to Make Private.
GleanView also allows Users to include different Variables into their Templates.
The Variables can be placed anywhere in the Template.
Email Tracking and Logging
When an In-App Email is sent, GleanView tracks its Clicks and Opens inside the Account Activity Widget. For Users who have Email Sync enabled all logged emails will show up here as well as Sales Activity Analytics and can be filtered out in the Activity List View.
The Account Activity Widget will indicate whether or not it was an Outgoing or Incoming Email, or if it was from a Campaign; as outlined in green below:
This widget also tracks whether or not the Email has been opened by the recipient:
Should the recipient click on any link within the email, GleanView will track the click and store the Page Visit data (along with any other logged Activities) within Account Activity as shown below:
Clicking on one of the logged visits will populate the visit history. GleanView captures and tracks the Visit Date, number of Pages Visited, Time On Site, Medium, Source, Campaign (if relevant), Search Term, Device, Browser, Contact, and Pages Viewed and stores it under Account Activity.
