You can add up to 10 media files to each product. Media files can be images, pdf, .mov, embedded videos and other file types subject to the same limitations as files in the file manager.
Files are added on the product overview page in the Product Media widget. Images can be any physical size (subject to the 30MB file size limit). The first image in the media widget will be the one used as a thumbnail for the product on the quote at 150 x 150 dpi max size, but will display actual size when your customer previews the files. You can reorder the files by dragging and dropping them within the widget. You can delete any files from the product media by clicking the three dot menu underneath the file box.
In order for images to display on the quote, make sure the Product Image in Description toggle is On in the line item settings section. The description field must also be toggled on for the image to display since it is displayed inside the product description. You can select the size of the main image that displays in the quote table. Default is 100px. You can select to limit the width only also. So, if you upload the image to the product that is 150px X 200px and you have the settings of Product Image size of 100px and the checkbox to limit width only, then this image will be display on the quote table at 100px x 200px. If you do not have the limit width checkbox checked, then it will display as 100px X 100px.
The thumbnail of the first product image will display in the left side of the product description of the product. The person viewing the proposal can click on the image to launch a full size preview modal. If there are multiple files, then a blue button with the number of files will display directly beneath the image. Clicking this button will also launch the full size previewer.
The full size previewer has controls to advance to the next file or move back to the previous file, as well as a counter and a download button. Non-image files are displayed as a simple document icon.
Note: In addition to being able to be previewed in the Proposal Viewer, product media files can also be previewed in the quote editor, the proposal editor and the proposal previewer by users.
Only the thumbnail version of the first image will be displayed on the pdf.
You can also add an image column to a quote table using the quote settings. Simply Click the Product Image toggle on. The thumbnail of the product will display in a separate column on the quote table (which can be reaarranged) and when a contact hovers over the product image and clicks, the media viewer will launch so the contact can view all of the other product media files.
