You can add UpSell, CrossSell and Downsell products to any product using the UpSell/CrossSell/DownSell section of the Pricing widget on the product overview page. You can also add these items to any product using Bulk Edit and Bulk Import. You can reorder the products in each section by dragging the grab bars on the left of each product and dropping it in the desired position. You can delete products from each section by clicking the trash can icon.
When a product that has UpSell or DownSell or CrossSell defined in the pricing widget is added to a quote, the corresponding icon will display on the quote.
Clicking the UpSell or DownSell link will display a modal with the respective options as radio buttons. Selecting one of these options will replace the item it is associated with on the quote.
Clicking on the CrossSell link will display a modal with check boxes. You can select multiple items from the CrossSell link to add to the quote. You can also select a QTY for each item on the modal and where you would like the CrossSell items to be added to the quote. If there are sections on the quote, they will be listed in the drop down listing places to add the CrossSell items. In the case in the image below, there are two sections on the quote: Section 1 is named First Phase and Section 2 is named Second Phase.
You can also mark items as Required when setting up CrossSell on the product record and change the default quantity of the CrossSell item.
When a product is added to a quote and that product has a required CrossSell, then the CrossSell modal displays automatically and prompts you to select where you would like to add the required CrossSell items. You will not be able to continue until you add the required items and you will not be able to unselect the items that are required or edit the quantity.
